A Good Year For Trade

Year activity for 2016 is coming to a close. December is turning out to be an active month for trade and finance of business aircraft. While 2016 can be considered a year of continued recovery in the overall business aviation industry when it pertains to trade, values, on the other hand, have continued to decline.

The primary factor in this current market environment is supply and demand. There is a lot of late-model inventory available for sale in the global market with the majority of transactions occurring in the North American arena for this activity again. Late-model aircraft in particular continue to show their vulnerability to value retention.

There are, of course, many elements that influence the bottom line in a business aircraft transaction.
